  • This is the third book in this series that I have enjoyed, again we back at the farm and with the Bachmann family. This is mainly Liesel s story, but really the sister s and maybe Aunt Suz, as she tells some of the family history Wow, we are in the present and so involved with what is going on, and then we become engrossed in Gus s life, he is Suz s brother and the girl s father. The saying that history repeats itself is prevalent in a way that makes them realize what is important and to grab wha [...]

  • I am a huge fan of this series Leslie Gould has a wonderful gift of writing dual timeline stories that tie into family histories In this book we are re introduced to the youngest sister Leisel who has left her Amish community to take up nursing When her sister Marie becomes ill, Leisel returns home to help, only to have her own hopes and dreams fall apart To help Leisel get through each crisis, Aunt Suz tells Leisel the story of Aunt Suz s father Leisel s grandfather and his involvement in I am [...]

  • A Faithful Gathering is book 3 in the Sisters of Lancaster Series and my favorite I loved the relationship all three sisters had with each other I loved how supportive of the sisters were when one of them came down with cancer It has been four years since the death of her father and when Liesel left home and the Amish way to go to nursing school She fully embraced the English life and even had a very supportive English boyfriend Her life is turned upside down when she returns home to care f A Fa [...]

  • A Faithful Gathering is book three from The Sisters of Lancaster County series I thought it was so good and my favorite of the series I am giving it five plus stars Highly recommended.

  • I loved this book I see it as a very real storyline that I could imagine actually happening It was about a young Amish woman going on her own to become a nurse and her goals and aspirations She was a caring and kind person thinking of family first I felt that this story touched on past and present situations in such an interesting way, that it was very hard to put this one down Loved it I received an ebook copy from NetGalley All thoughts are my own.

  • This story warmed my heart it is about a woman going on to pursue her dreams and being everything she wanted to be, but her faith is little stronger then she thought and going home may be the best thing for her.
